Rules Engine
See
Business rules engine - Wikipedia
A Rules Engine can apply a set of rules to well organised data, to generate new data such as a risk score.
Functionality for SAVVI
The platform should be capable of
importing Risk Factor data - preferably without hard-coded fields
data matching
applying Rules over data
generating and setting markers
access control and auditing
generating statistics
Additional features may include
geographic presentation and spatial querying
linking to other data such as a gazetteer
generating and visualising insight
To be reusable
rules should be configurable rather than hard-coded
the data that the rules act on should be in SAVVI Risk Factor form, rather than as hard-coded fields.
Standards
The platform may implement the
SAVVI Logical Model.
