Part 1 - ReGenerOsa Six Convesations. A Witnessing Story

Last Full Moon the wonderful Tricia and Iris joined the Advisory Circle in the in Earth Regenerators to tell the story of ReGenerOsa past, present, and future. As Tricia did lovingly before, she planted a beautiful seed of bringing the on-the-ground OSA community and the virtual ER community even closer together to live into the dream of ReGenerOsa, inviting us all to support their 2.5% multi-capital gift campaign. You can watch their awe inspiring sharing in this . 💚
I offer these Witnessing Stories as my part of my 2.5% gift to support ReGenerOsa and all you wonderful humans who steward this dream journey. This is the first of two Witnessing Stories of the Six Conversation journey the group has embarked on. Brought into existence by , these community-building conversations give meaningful space to explore accountability and commitment to one-self and the collective. The Six Conversations are:
Invitation conversation
Possibility conversation
Ownership conversation
Dissent conversation
Commitment conversation
Gifts conversation
This Witnessing Story will tell from the group’s first 4 steps on this journey; from Invitation to Dissent.
With the intention to advance diversity and inclusiveness for human and non-human life on the Osa Peninsula, Tricia warmly welcomed everyone to the bi-lingual (Spanish/English) conversation space, lovingly supported by the beautiful Dita. It is truly inspiring how you both hold so caring what wants to emerge. 🙌🏼
Please immerse yourself in the, and/or read on to find the full video stories for each conversation. 👣

🌺 A Beautiful Invitation

Like every senseful and compassionate relationship, the conversation series began with an invitation. A beautiful invitation from Tricia to live into the dream of ReGenerOsa. You can watch her welcoming, grounding, and inviting the group in this . 💃🏼
Transformation occurs through choice, not mandate. Invitation is the call to create an alternative future. ~ From the Notes
This invitation is also an initiation of the 2.5% multi-capital gift campaign to support the home of 2.5% of the entire planet’s biodiversity aka the Osa Peninsula. This home is less than a thousandth of a percent of Mother Earth’s total surface area. 🤯
If you feel called to meet some of the incredible humans living on the Osa, who bring forth the revival of traditional fishing and farming practices rooted in kinship and stewardship of water and land, I want to invite you to enjoy this led by Eida and Tricia and/or read the . 🐝

✨ Dreaming into Possibility

When we dream into Possibility, we can go beyond problem solving the past, and fully open ourselves up to what we want our future to be. While problem solving, making a list, going fast, and getting practical makes tomorrow a little better, it is also hostile for transformation. In problem solving there is no space for my change and my story, as opposed to the Possibility conversation, which frees us to challenge the status quo, break new ground, innovate and create the new futures we hold in our hearts. Please watch this where Peter Block offers more context and nuance in his approach to shifting the community narrative. I really like his clear message, when he says:
What is the possibility? You cannot explore possibility from a realistic point of view because then it is a goal.
Unfortunately, there wasn't any video recording available for me to harvest the Possibility conversation, to include it into the story. So, I invited the lovely midi who is participating in the Six Conversations to share from her experience. Thank you midi for your voice and wise words. 🙌🏼
What crossroads are you at in your life just now? It is fascinating, how the possibilities in that question are perceived very differently when you are at different life stages. This experience was deeply connecting and intimate in a very short amount of time. ~ midi

👣 Stepping into Ownership

With the beautiful poem Eingang by Rainer Maria Rilke, Dita opened the door for the group to step into the Ownership conversation. They explored the importance of co-creation with dynamic leadership and a sense of belonging; and how it is so much about energy and agency, and owning one’s own responsibilities when we show up for the conversation.
The conversation is the relationship. ~ David Whyte
It takes courage to not blame, shame, or pass on guilt; and instead to find the wholehearted willpower to ask the question: How have I contributed to the reality that is now?
Please witness the Ownership conversation in this . 💞

🙅🏼‍♀️ Dance with Dissent

In community, we need spaces to say no. Only a kind and honest No can give meaningful power to a Yes. Yes without No doesn’t exist. There is beauty in this polarity, we can call it life or emergence.
Dita generously opened the Dissent conversation by reading the Poem Desconcierto by Rumi. Please enjoy her wonderful bi-lingual reading in this . 🙏🏼
Welcoming a no into a conversation needs a lot of openness to put aside one’s own desires and agenda, to be able to give space for doubts and reservations to be voiced for everyone to clarify their roles, needs and yearnings within a vision and mission.
When we fully surrender to a No, and accept a No as a gift, we invite spaciousness, and with it polarity to soften. 💗
To train the muscle of invitation. Surrendering to the no. ~ Tricia
You can follow the Dance with Dissent in this . 💃🏼
That is all the Witnessing I can offer for now. Tomorrow, the group will enter the Commitment conversation before they finish their journey with the Gift conversation next week. It is an absolute honour for me to witness their dance in togetherness, and to share their beautiful evolution through these witnessing stories. 🙏🏼
With deep gratitude,
Kath 💚
