The Pran Dasha periods are calculated by dividing the Sookshma Dasha period based on the proportion of each planet's duration in the Mahadasha.
Given the Sookshma Dasha of Mercury from 12th May 2024, 1:47 to 18th May 2024, 21:38, let's calculate the Pran Dashas:
The total duration of the Mercury Sookshma Dasha is from 12-5-2024 1:47 to 18-5-2024 21:38.
Start time: 12-5-2024 1:47
End time: 18-5-2024 21:38
Total duration: 6 days, 19 hours, and 51 minutes.
For precise calculations, we'll convert the entire duration into minutes:
6 days = 6 * 24 * 60 = 8640 minutes
19 hours = 19 * 60 = 1140 minutes
51 minutes
Total duration = 8640 + 1140 + 51 = 9831 minutes
Next, we divide this period into the Pran Dashas based on the proportion each planet's Dasha period occupies in the Vimshottari Dasha system. The Vimshottari Dasha periods are:
