FAQs

How much work is this integration for my team?
Frontend: ~30-3h (one script, one div, a few pages). Testing can be taken by the SAIZ team, if you want your team to test and review staging, estimate another few hours for testing. E-Commerce feeds: typically 2-5 hours to set up automated exports from your existing systems. PLM data: depends on your PLM setup, but we accept your existing export format as-is - no transformation needed, just the existing exports you have → 2-5 hours. Total internal effort for most clients: under 2 dev days.
What does my team do vs. what does SAIZ handle?
Work split
Your team
SAIZ handles
Add one script + one div to your shop
All extension configuration, styling, placement
Set up PLM data export (SFTP or API)
Data ingestion, validation, mapping
Set up order/return feed
Analytics, reporting, performance dashboards
Register SAIZ cookie in your CMP
Cookie consent logic, recommender activation
QA on staging
Ongoing changes, updates, new extensions

After go-live, your dev team is hands-off. All changes go through SAIZ.
Does SAIZ slow down my page?
No. SAIZ loads after everything else loads on your store. The SAIZ script loads asynchronously and does not block page rendering. It is designed for zero impact on Core Web Vitals: negligible effect on LCP (target: under 2.0s), no layout shift (CLS), and no blocking of user interactions (INP under 150ms). If SAIZ is temporarily unavailable, the page renders normally without the extension.
Which storefront platforms does it work with?
SAIZ is platform-agnostic. It works with any shop that supports custom HTML: Shopify, Shopware, Magento, WooCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, custom builds, and others. No platform-specific plugin required. For Shopify there is a public APP available.
Can we A/B test it?
Yes. SAIZ supports A/B testing and has a full A/b Testing platform behind. We can configure the extension to show for a percentage of visitors, and we provide performance data (conversion, return rate) per group. We will provide a detailed statistical evaluation of correlation and causation between the tools and your observed KPIs.
How easy is it to remove?
Remove the script and div from your shop - done. SAIZ does not modify your product data, templates, or checkout flow. There is no lock-in.
What happens to our data?
SAIZ is fully GDPR-compliant and by default hosted in the EU (if you have shops that require hosing in their countries, we can also support that). We process only what's needed for sizing (body measurements, product interactions, IP addresses → these are anonymized right after the service is provided and only anomymized data is stored). No names, no emails, no cross-domain tracking, no third-party data sharing. We utilize Google analytics data layers to track tool behaviors (funnels through the pages, clicks etc); no additional data is shared with GA.
What kind of results can we expect?
Clients typically see a measurable reduction in size-related returns within the first 3 months. Exact impact depends on your category, return rate baseline, and which extensions you activate and traffic. We provide transparent performance reporting from day one and will estimate results during kickoff.
What’s the expected uptime of the e-commerce tools?
We are contractually committed to ensure above 99% uptime on your store.
What about security?
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. SAIZ infrastructure is hosted in the EU on AWS. We conduct regular penetration testing, enforce strict internal access controls, and do not share any customer data with third parties. SFTP connections use SSH key authentication. We provide a DPA and can complete your security questionnaire on request.
