Introduction

Rippey Logistics(RPL) Hackathon 2024

Purpose

This document details the implementation and outcomes of two distinct use cases selected for the Rippey Logistics(RPL) Hackathon 2024. Our primary objective was to thoroughly explore our existing systems, develop a functional solution based on the provided use cases, and produce comprehensive and impactful documentation to accompany it.

Selected Use Cases

Our team has chosen to focus on use case 1 and 4. They are explained further in detail below:

Use Case 1 - Simple Email Quoting Business Owner : HC For Use Case 1, we targeted creating a simple Email Automation workflow, specifically handling Full Container Load (FCL) requests. The challenge was to efficiently extract accurate rate information from the client's email and deliver the results in a well-formatted template.

Use Case 4 - OAI + Templatization Business Owner : Bishwesh Use Case 4 involved developing a sophisticated data extraction process that combines OAI’s capabilities with traditional templatization techniques. This approach aimed to solve complex data challenges, such as extracting multi-page NCM numbers and other structured information, with the goal of improving accuracy and adaptability in handling various document structures.

Approach

In tackling these use cases, our approach was to leverage existing tools and databases to address the unique challenges posed by each scenario. This document captures the methodologies employed, the challenges encountered, and the results achieved, providing a clear view of our contributions to the hackathon.
