Adding Opening Cash Float: If your business deals with cash, add an opening cash float. Optionally, you can add a note for clarity.
Finalizing the Opening: Click Open Register. Your register will remain open until you decide to close it at the end of your trading day.

Closing a Register

Navigating to Close Option: Go to Sell > Open / Close. (For iPad users: From the main menu, select Close Register and tap Close Register)
Counting Cash: Count all the cash in the cash drawer. Enter the counted value into the Counted ($) field next to the expected amount.
Finalizing the Closure: Confirm the cash count and any other payment types. Optionally, add a note in the closing summary for reference. Click Close Register to finalize the process.
Note: It's a best practice to close the register at the end of each trading day. This ensures accurate records and helps in future references.
