Organizational Layer⁠

The foundational layer defines the membrane and types of membership that the organization has. RE’s Foundational Layer is laid out in the

Foundational Layer⁠

document. It’s comprised of four types of members - Core, Transition, Contributing and Orbiting.

You can find our current list of members in

and summarizes a basic set of rules and guidelines about how decisions are made, what is the format of the circle meetings, what are different modes of facilitation and communication during the official operation and governance meetings etc.

The organizational layer defines an ever-changing and fluid set of Roles, Policies and Circles that envelop the practical aspects of how the organization operates. At the moment Core and Transition members are part of the Circle meetings and are using and updating

the Organizational Layer⁠
