Design of the Myth Buster Game: This is an interactive game designed to educate children about water conservation in Arizona while identifying common myths. The children can select their own version of the character “Blue” that they would like to play with. The game combines fun elements and factual information to engage children and promote water-saving habits.

👥 Testing the game with UX 101 students and Open Door

We also put our Mythbuster water conservation game to the test in two different settings. First, we conducted a focused usability session with three students from a UX 101 class. This session aimed to test the game's intuitiveness and engagement, looking at how clear the character selection process, myth or fact questions, and feedback explanations were. We were interested in gathering their feedback on the overall design, educational value, and the flow of the game. We also showcased the game at an Open Door event, where we observed how people interacted with it freely, providing a broader perspective while taking notes of comments, questions, and overall interactions.
