This is for the management accountants using Coda. You will be aware how few people understand the flow of costs from Overheads, through manufacturing, to inventory and from there to Cost of Goods Sold. I have just had some trouble with a client not understanding the differences between Overheads, Cost of Goods Manufacture and Cost of Goods Sold.

I decided to build a demo in Coda, which I am sharing here in the New, Improved Sheet doc, because you are NEVER going to do this in Excel.

The demo is for an SAP environment, but it is high-level enough so that the principles rather than the SAP features come through.
