Greetings from your dissertation chair. This is an exciting adventure that we are going to be taking together. You are moving from the passenger seat in your educational journey to the driver seat. This is all about you and helping you become an expert in your area.
Having said this, I would like to introduce myself to you. I have 17 years in public K12 education, with the last 6 being at a DAEP. I have worked to complete more research on DAEPs, as there is very little current research in this area. I am biased in the sense that I believe that the system is broken.
Outside of education, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family. I have three poodles, two toys, and one standard, the loves of my life. Remington, my standard poodle, was the first of the trio. If you didn’t know, poodles are like potato chips; you can’t have just one.
