Summary
Otermans Institute (OI) is a global education and upskilling firm that provides support to underserved and unserved learners. They are technologically driven and work primarily through digital teachers of our team and with Artificial Intelligence (AI) developed by the company to support learners globally. This role is for an immediate/May start and is currently virtual/remote. Following the probation period, successful candidates become full-time team members and also receive additional payment increase.
Role
Your work will result in directly upskilling underserved learners globally - from neurodiverse learners to the unemployed and less economically fortunate learners. You will learn key training and teaching techniques on the job and be able to take direct responsibility of management from a very early part of your journey with OI. You will learn the transferable skills needed for high-level digital teaching and training roles.
Requirement
The ideal candidate will have:
Excellent spoken English (native/close to native)
Able to teach learners between the ages of 14-25 in English
Able to manage Zoom and other online portals
Excellent at time keeping and administrative tasks
Capable of managing a team of up to 10 volunteers and communicating across time zones
Willing to contribute to other tasks for the success of the organisation
Able to use excel, word, PPT and design tools like Canva
Able to insert and tabulate data
Essential Skills
Excellent communication skills, accuracy, and good attention to detail
Able to receive and make phone calls including closing candidates
Ability to work independently
Well-organised and self-motivated
Familiarity with social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit, Discord, Snapchat, Tik Tok)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Able to command authority and respect from students/learners
Nice to have
experience with tech products
passionate about Artificial Intelligence
Post completion
A minimum of one candidate will be taken in as a full-time team member with scope for future work from our London office after becoming a permanent member of staff. The probation period is 4-months.
Recruitment Process

Stage 1: video interview with a member of our marketing team @ Otermans Institute
Stage 2: an activity/task to complete and submit
Stage 3: final interview with senior management
