Install the Gmail Pack in your doc.

info
Packs are installed into individual docs, not across an entire account or workspace. This means you’ll have to install a Pack in each of the docs where you wish to use it. You must have edit access to a doc in order to install a Pack in it, and once installed anyone else with access to the doc can use the Pack you’ve installed.
You can install the Gmail Pack directly from within the doc you are working in by using the Insert panel.
Click the Insert button in the upper right of your doc.
In the side panel, select Packs.
Browse or search for the Gmail Pack.
Click on the Gmail Pack to open its listing page.
Click the Add to doc button to begin the installation.

Connecting a shared vs. private account

Most Packs allow you to set up both private accounts and shared accounts.
A private account is one that only you - the person setting up that account - can use to take actions from the Coda doc.
A shared account is one that can be used to take actions by anyone who has access to the doc. For example, with a shared account connected to the Gmail Pack, anyone who has access to the doc can use a Send Email button action to send an email as you.
To connect your Gmail account:
Navigate to the Gmail Pack settings by clicking Insert > Packs > Gmail > Settings.
Choose to add a Private or Shared account. You will then be re-directed to Google to sign in to your Gmail account.
After signing in via Google, you will be re-directed to Coda to confirm who can take actions with that account.

Once your account is connected, you can start using any building blocks from the Pack!
