Release of Liability

The Junction Triangle ThingShare and the George Chuvalo Neighbourhood Centre just provide a connection between borrowers and lenders. They do not vet or monitor the people who are lending or borrowing, and they do not inspect, approve, maintain or in any way control the things being shared. For this reason, these organizations do not assume any liability if things don’t go as planned. To participate, you need to understand and accept this.

By participating as a lender, you understand that you are assuming a variety of risks, including but not limited to your items being damaged or stolen, the negligence of other participants, and other participants not abiding by the rules and recommendations of the ThingShare. You agree to release the Junction Triangle ThingShare and George Chuvalo Neighbourhood Centre from any and all liability related to your participation.

By participating as a borrower, you understand that you are assuming a variety of risks, including but not limited to injury, death and damage due to items that are inherently dangerous or not maintained in safe and proper condition, other participants not abiding by the rules and recommendations of the ThingShare, or your own failure to act safely and within your abilities. You agree to release the Junction Triangle ThingShare, the George Chuvalo Neighbourhood Centre and the lender of the item from any and all liability related to your participation.

Privacy Policy

The site collects names and email addresses for lenders and borrowers, so that it can put them in touch - they’ll see each other’s information when a borrower makes a request. We won’t use this information for any other purpose than contacting you about the Junction Triangle Thing Share.

Removing Items from the Catalogue

If you find an item you think is inappropriate, or would like to remove one of your own items from the catalogue, select the item and then click Request Removal
