Characters of The Residency

Characters: the people who write our company's story.

We say “characters” for roles/positions/jobs because we think of our work as a “story” that is constantly being written by each new person who joins our movement. We also call our cohorts “chapters”.

The characters of The Residency are curious, intentional, ambitious, respectful individuals who have taste.

They are not pessimistic and they do not lie.

The characters we are looking for right now

Community Architect⁠

: live and work alongside residents, ensuring a thriving community (~5 hours per week, IRL)

⁠

Founding Team, Designer⁠

: turn The Residency into a work of art (part time or full time)

⁠

Founding Team, Generalist⁠

: work closely with 1-2 others on the founding team to shape The Residency (full time)

⁠

Founding Team, Tech⁠

: code, manage developers, and set vision
