Recruiting for your chapter and bringing attention to the mission of IJM can be done in many places on your campus! Keep reading for some ideas - these may even help spark new ideas of your own!
Share in Classes
Ask your professor if you can make an announcement to the class. You can do this before, during, or after your club rush/org fair.
Make sure you give a short description of what IJM is, how to get involved and how to contact you (social media info would be great!).
Present to Student Groups
Prepare an informative talk about IJM and share how they can join your Campus Chapter. You can also tell them about ways to support your chapter if they aren’t interested in joining.
Find fact sheets, videos and other materials in to have available for those who are interested. Hang Flyers/Posters
Prior to your org fair and after, you can spread information about your chapter by hanging flyers or posters around campus. Include pictures, graphics and logos. Include contact information for Instagram, Twitter, etc. Have meeting times and some info about what your IJM chapter’s purpose is.
Ensure you have permission to hang on specific boards and have your flyer approved by the right person.
