User Needs
Our target audience, young users aged 18-24, is increasingly seeking deeper connections on social media. However, they face challenges in expressing themselves freely and sharing photos seamlessly:
Limited Creative Tools: Existing editing options might not cater to their needs. (Current features: take photos, basic edits and 5 effects/filters)
Time Constraints: They might struggle to find time for elaborate editing. (Users have to edit externally to achieve their goals for their photos then post on Aperture)
Cross-Platform Sharing Issues: Sharing photos across different platforms might be cumbersome. (e.g. editing from a photo-editing app, then uploading to our app; sharing a photo taken using Aperture to another platform)
