Have the client activate their enrollment either by calling with their PIN or calling to get their PIN or by filling out the online form and waiting 10 days to get a new PIN.
If you used a coupon in the past two years or if your business is less than a year old, you are pre-enrolled in EFTPS.
Please locate the four-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) that was mailed to you and call 800.555.3453 to activate your enrollment. You'll need your banking information to do so. If you can't find your PIN and have not already completed your enrollment, call 888.434.7338 and your PIN will be given to you.
If you choose instead to create a new enrollment in EFTPS by completing the form on this page, it will be five to seven business days before you receive your PIN in the mail and can schedule a payment.
So all that’s left to register is the EFTPS.
You’ll need the 4 digit PIN that was sent in a separate letter when you received your FEIN letter. If you have your PIN, you are already enrolled so you go to:
). Click on “Make A Payment” and it will have you set up a secured Authentication. Click on Login.Gov and enter your phone, etc. When you’re done, you will be redirected to the EFTPS website. Then you should be able to enter your FEIN, PIN, and password.
You can also activate your enrollment by phone at: (800)555-3453 but you’ll need your PIN and bank info.
If you don’t have your 4 digit PIN, call the IRS at (888)434-7338 and they will give you the PIN over the phone.
