Here are my results as of 2022-02-14 on 23andMe:

The 78.5% from “France and Germany” is basically all from France based on my

I wasn’t aware of any “Spanish & Portuguese” in my ancestry, so it must be from my paternal grandmother’s biological parents whom we don’t know the identity of (although we have a guess for the mother, so it might be zir father side). This hypothesis also fits with the percentage I have of it, 12.3%, which is closed to about what we would expect if I had a great grandparent from that, ie. 0.5^3 = 12.5%.
