Logotype/Wordmark:

This is where a logo is simply presented from whichever language is from such as:

Letterform or lettermark:

Single letterform is a common choice for representing a design. You can get really creative and create something that’s distinctive. For example:

This is where a brand is presented with something physical and lateral, can also be Character or a Mascot such as:

They’re not a representative of an abstract symbol, and not as tangible.

This is when a logo has a different alternate logo for depending on the use.
