The Big Idea is a marketing concept where we narrow down everything we learned so far into a single, simple idea.
The Big Idea might become the organization totem pole or battle cry, or even the slogan. Examples:
Apple → Think Different
Volvo → Safety
Coca-cola → Happiness in a bottle
Disney → Make people happy
We’re going to use this as a jumping point. for our design work. How to find The Big Idea?
The steps for Creative Ideation are:
Collect and review information (what we did so far) Let it simmer (and get some space from the project, work on other projects) What if there is no bang?
(Yeah, we know, Nike’s slogan! 😅) Take your time, create a lot and present them a few options.
