At Netflix, we all begin our onboarding journey in scheduling 1:1 meetings with everyone in the team. Whether in-person, or virtual calls, this is the opportunity to get-to-know your stunning colleagues. Although they are not officially part of the pan-EMEA team, there are 2 AV Producers based in London who are dedicated to the UK marketing team:
. They do the same job as the other AV Producers but, given the size of the UK team and the significance of their content, their goals and objectives are solely UK-specific. Whereas in the regional team, we are focused on the region as a whole; with a drive to simplify and standardise our workflows using scalable solutions as the business grows and grows.
Other AV teams are based in UCAN, LATAM and APAC. We operate in very similar ways (most of the time) and stay connected to share insights and learnings wherever it makes sense to.
