2024 Country Objectives
The “thrill of what’s next” is how we want people to feel when they experience Netflix. To deliver that thrill consistently across the country and sustain conversation and cultural relevance throughout the year, we are programming a steady drumbeat of meaningful moments that 1) showcase our best in class offering, 2) build anticipation and celebrate our hits, and 3) connect with all of our audiences.
Our product organisation known as Product Discovery and Promotion [PDP] is separate from Marcomms.
Product Creative Studio [PCS] are creative partners for our 'On Service' or on product promotional materials and content launches. They are a critical team that manages the creative including box art, trailers, clips and other media on our streaming platform. They work closely with Title Marketing to ensure consistency of of title messaging and approach from what members see out in the world and what they are met with on our product platform.
We work closely with PCS to deliver AV assets used for ‘On Service’ but we’ll go into that more in the coming weeks.
An easier way to think if Marketing vs. PCS is that both teams do similar things, they create Artwork and AV assets that get people excited to watch our content however, Marketing distributes their assets to traditional marketing placements such as social media channels, TV & Cinema, while PCS distributes their assets to the Netflix streaming service.
If you’ve ever seen a piece of artwork or AV when browsing through Netflix then you’ve seen the work of PCS.
