World Borders & Reset Zones

No world borders this season.
However, excess chunks beyond reasonable distance may be trimmed when necessary.
Overworld and The Nether - Chunks pre-generated up to 2000 blocks circular from 0,0
⚠️ The End - May reset outside of 2000 blocks.

Spawn Area

For the first time this season, we are going to hand back the decision-making to the players, at least in regards to things like spawn, shopping districts, and infrastructure. Our goal is to let players decide what's important to them, and to give them the power to work with others (or alone) to shape their experience this season.
Note: Staff may intervene for lag related issues to maintain good player experience.

Origins (Optional)

For the first time this season, we are giving players a new way to experience a different lifestyle.
When first joining, an option to choose an Origin will be displayed. If you are not sure, or don’t want an origin, choose No Origin (Human). To choose an Origin later, run /trigger choose_origin.

Pros & Cons of Every Origin

Please be aware, once you choose your origin, it can not be changed unless it is cleansed (once) or you earn a reset to another one.
If you wish to switch Origins you either need to Consume an Origin Unlock Potion, or a Potion of Origin Switching to change to another previously unlocked Origin.

Origin Switching System

You can switch between unlocked Origins by consuming a Potion of Origin Switching (4 diamond block, 4 eye of ender, exp bottle). Recipe is displayed below.
The cooldown for switching between origins is 15 minutes.
You can unlock new Origins by consuming a Origin Unlock Potion (formerly Origin Reset Bottle). Old ones will still work.

Our server uses custom items in game which can only be seen when our resource pack is enabled. You can enable it by joining our server when prompted or downloading our client side resource pack.

Server Side

Pros: No need to manually download and will automatically update. Just click yes when prompted.
Cons: You may experience extra loading time when joining or leaving, but mod can mitigate the issue.

Client Side

Pros: No extra loading time when leaving or joining the server.
Cons: Must download and update manually from the latest post in channel.
Place the zip file into the resource pack folder, and be sure to disable or remove any older versions and then enable the most recent version.

Lag Management & Courtesy

Please be considerate when using anything that may cause lag during busy times —— 4️⃣

🔟 View Distance and Simulation Distance

By default, both view and simulation distance start at 10. However, these distances may be adjusted dynamically or manually by an admin to keep the server stable or reduce lag when server resources are strained, usually down to 6.
If you need to run a farm or a machine that requires a simulation higher than 6, please ask an admin before running one to ensure nothing breaks.
Check the current settings with /sc status before running. If you need it raised (up to 10), ask an admin to see if it is okay to run.

📚 Villager Trading Halls

We recommend using the Public Villager Trading Hall that is free to use.
If you really need to build your own, it must be far from spawn, and preferably 225 blocks away from anyone’s base so that it does not cause server performance issues.
Please do not leave villager breeders running unless you are actively utilizing them. Staff reserves the right to remove excess villagers if deemed necessary to reduce lag.

🔥 Chunk Loaders

Building a chunk loader requires opening a Staff ticket.
We need to know where you are building it in case we need to stop it for various reasons.

🏭 Farms, Dupers, and Redstone Machines

Leaving any duper(s) running unattended or while AFK is prohibited.
Be mindful of your farm and duper collection systems as an overflow of entities can cause massive amounts of lag. Having a proper and working disposal system for excess items will prevent such lag.
Avoid cramming entities in a small area that result in collisions (common in chickens, cows, and sheeps) which can cause lag spikes.
If possible, any machine or farm should use efficient designs to reduce unnecessary lag.
