Notes on users
This page contains an early understanding of the potential user groups for seams and aims to define the high level needs for each. These are not intended to form detailed user personas, but a high level definition and categorization instead.
Description
Prior to exploring the types of users, it helps to simplify ones thinking if we take a view of the different user roles within the seams ecosystem. Generically speaking, we could also say that any seams user assumes two roles. The Creator or The Consumer.
The table below offers a different view on the user types, regardless of user role. Again, at this stage this document does not intend to articulate a detailed user persona.

Creator of garments. “The talent” seamsters offer
handmade garments, custom made garments, made to order garments
Vendor (Fabric, patterns etc)
Manufacturer and supplier of an item such as fabric or patterns. A vendor does not “create” or “customise” from the item supplied, but they offer an item for sale.
