Interview Tips
There are many different interview styles and formats.
Some interview formats include:
-Phone Interview
-Video Interview
-In-Person Interview
-Group Interview
-Panel Interview
-Hiring Events
Within each of these interview formats, you might also have skill based assessments or personality trends.
The biggest tip when it comes to any step of the interview process is to just be yourself.
Common Interview Tips
Be yourself - Don’t try to be someone or something that you aren’t
Arrive 10 - 15 minutes early to the interview
Plan your interview attire the night prior - dress professionally
Make sure you have all available interview resources and they are working properly if it is a remote interview
Practice good manners and body language
Do your research on the company and the hiring managers prior to the interview
Be engaged and enthusiastic about the opportunity/organization
Be prepared to highlight your skills and accomplishments
Practice answering interview questions with another person
There are many different interview formats, a common method is the STAR format.
Do not speak negatively about previous employers
Ask at least one to two questions to each interviewee
Follow-up with a thank you note or letter after the interview

You ultimately want to put your best foot forward to leave a good impression.
Just as much as you are interviewing for a particular position, you are pursuing a long term fit for yourself. You should make sure the opportunity aligns with what you are looking for. Don’t be afraid to ask questions!
