Reading Note Template
Data
In your notebook there are two kinds of notes to help keep things organized:
Notepad
and
Reading Note Template
. Think of all of your notes together as your class portfolio, a record of all the reading, researching, and journaling and notes you’ve taken from our class sessions.
Use the
Notepad
for lecture and presentation notes.
Use your
Reading Note Template
to create a note based on something you are reading or researching for class.
As you are working, when you add a bibliographic reference in the table on your notes it will be added to your master
Bibliography
for the whole class. Thus, you will over time build up quite an important resource. You can add more to your bibliography by going to
Bibliography
and when you click the arrow next to Bibliography it will give you different views of your bibliographic references. Try it out!
💡ProTip:
When you’re done with something or want to move it out of the way, like the
Progressive Summarization
part of the notebook, you can drag it to
Archive
to help keep things neat.
Want to print your doc?
This is not the way.
Try clicking the ⋯ next to your doc name or using a keyboard shortcut (
Ctrl
P
) instead.
