I could probably add more [into my 401(k)] each year, but to be honest, I don’t look at it that much... I feel like if I understood more about it, then I would be more active.

“My place of work gives us a 3% match, but I worry that I’m not putting enough in now and [I’m not sure] what it’s going to look like when I need to retire... I have a Roth 401(k) because that’s what everyone is telling me to do, but I don’t really understand the whole part about being taxed now verses later when you take it out. It’s all pretty confusing.
“I know I should learn to understand it better and I’m just relying on other people, but I really wish I knew more about finances and investing. Being able to understand money and stocks, I think, is important.”
