To Discuss - Feedback from mentees on the experience

Profiles: desire for skills based bios

Matching criteria

Mentees are prioritizing those who:

Can help professionally (critical criteria) through a Catholic lens

Rapport is important

Faith is lowest consideration because it’s already a given - it’s table stakes (they want the above two to be filtered through the catholic lens)

Young RC men already have spiritual directors

Faith is important to them, but trying to figure out how to live that out through their vocation (spouse and profession).

3-Meet

To Discuss - Matching process

Question: First come first serve vs. waiting for all/most to complete interviews?

Mentees ready to get matched: Victor, Sergio, Paul

Victor: 1) Tom 2) Nobody else or any new mentors that might be a match

Sergio: 1) Andy 2) Jason

Paul: TBA - call scheduled for 6

TO-DO: Michael & Tom to let mentees/mentors know intros will be coming sometime next week most likely.

Rapport Building Planning - Fun Event(s) during 3-meet to see mentors “in action”

Question for Tom: When do you plan to schedule the 3-meet “moment of truth” experience planning call with mentors? It’s fast approaching.

TO-DO: Tom to look at calendar and propose a couple of times to mentors

TO-DO: Michael to follow up with Mentees to see which activities sound most enticing

Question: When do we want to schedule the next planning/brainstorm session?

Joe Christopherson: said he’ll get Michael his picks

Question for George: Did you reach out to Fr. Lino about looping in Fr. Klein?

George and Fr. Lino have played phone tag. Actively trying to get in touch.

Question: who’s in charge of reviewing responses in Thinkific?

George knows how to approve people but not how to turn off the approval

Michael to look into removing approvals

Question for Tom: have you reached out to Mark Thatcher to see if he wants to join our calls to help with the mentor training?

Yes - we’ll add him to a meeting once we are done with the 3-meet brainstorming to get his feedback. Might be better to keep him as a “guest” to the Monday meetings when we want his specific feedback. I.e. less cooks in the kitchen to start.

FYI - Michael will be having lunch with Fr. Martin & Fr. Shawn on Thursday (7/13) at 12:30 ET up at the RC Cumming house.

Question for Tom - do you have a breakfast location for that day? Yes, Eggs Up
