Threads is a pop-up thrift shop that gives 100% of its proceeds to supports the work of making justice unstoppable for vulnerable people.
Threads was launched from the vision of IJM campus chapter leaders, and over the last 7 years, students have hosted these pop-up thrift shops across the country, raising money to fund many rescue missions.
How it works:
Host & Promote
Students decide to host a Threads pop-up thrift shop.
We give them a handbook with instructions, tips for planning and resources for promoting their event.
Collect & Sort
Collect gently used clothing items.
Sort through the donated items and decide the best way to organize and present them for the sale.
Sell & Send Rescue!
When a shopper is ready to make their purchase, the total amount is processed as a direct donation to IJM. Literally every purchase is furthering the work of justice and protection for vulnerable people.
