My assumption is that we need to adjust the recent EU inflation numbers a bit upwards, the last 20 years we had a rather low inflation rate and chances are small we keep these low rates year after year for the next decades. The chart below shows the long term USA inflation of 3.15% . The sliders in this doc permit you to define your own long term inflation assumption.
