The LocalClarity platform helps multi-location business around the world to manage the content of their local business listings (names, addresses, phone numbers, hours, holidays, descriptions, etc.) on major search engines (e.g., Google, Apple, Bing, and Facebook) and industry portals (TripAdvisor, Trustpilot, Booking, Waze, etc.).
Use Cases
One of the core use cases of LocalClarity is to search location listing data to determine which listings might be missing critical data points and then to streamline the process of updates hundreds or even thousands of locations at once. A very concrete example might be to determine what holidays, if any, are including in my listings where my stores are closed or have special hours. The user would then use the platform to push a set of dates and possible hours to each of the location’s listing records on each platform.
The secondary use case of LocalClarity is multi-location reputation management. The platform offers extensive capabilities to respond to customer reviews from over 50 review platforms.
Current Situation
The LocalClarity application currently operates exactly as you might expect for an enterprise-capable platform. A user, with specific authorization over a certain businesses’ location data, goes to the section of the platform that allows for location listing management. The platform code hits the database to requests the list of locations in the account and presents the data to a designed table. The user then explores the data set with the existing filtering and searching capabilities with the goal of finding locations that may need updated.
The user interface gives the user the option to make the necessary changes. The changes are then saved to the platform database and pushed (with the appropriate authorizations to make the changes) to the listing source platforms such as each location’s Google Business Profile or Apple Business Connect.
It is this core daily activity that we hope to facilitate with a natural language chat interface. We would like to abbreviate:
