Step 2: Get Address Data (Client Address) You Fill Out This Part
Step 3: Click on Send Form for Payments
DO NOT SELECT “Fill Buyers Payment Method” DO NOT
Step 4: Select the Klarna & Affirm → Confirm
Step 5: Take Link and SEND to Client
They Must use their OWN devices
DO NOT FILL OUT THE ACTUAL APPLICATION FOR THE CLIENT - They must be using their own devices or you will run into ID Verification Issues since they use cookies.
Best Practice: Don’t use spouses phone/computer to apply
Step 6: Walking Client Through Application
Have them fill out their phone number & insert the verification code
Step 7: Client Enters Email
Have them fill out their email & insert the verification code
Step 8: Client Confirms/Adds Their DOB, Name, Address
Try to get client to use information that is on public records/driver license
Step 9: Pick a Plan / Term
THIS IS NOT WHAT THEY ARE APPROVED FOR!!!!
We don't know if they're qualified at this point. This part is essentially just to get client to pick term length.
Let client know this is not what they are approved for - this is just to select the term length!
(Have them choose the longest term length for lower monthly)
Step 10: Client Enters a Debit Card/Banking Information
NOTE: If client uses a credit union - it may not be able to verify since ‘PLAID’ has a hard time processing credit unions. If client uses a MAJOR BANK - It should verify
Step 11: Client Enters SSN
Step 12: Their plan appears with APR %
THIS IS WHEN YOU KNOW THEY ARE APPROVED
→ IF it requires a down payment today (if needed) - you can reduce the ticket amount to reduce the down payment (ex: 2500 down for 10k Klarna - lower ticket amount to $7500 and re-run application if willing to accept a lower amount.
→ IF it says "try different payment option" or it says "order total too high" which we then knock down a couple thousand and retry process if willing to accept a lower amount.
Step 13: Once Completed - Confirm Transaction is Complete
→ Go to ‘Transactions’ Tab on Cope Cart Portal
You might have to wait 3-5 minutes before it populates..
BUT, you will see Order ID - Click on most recent transaction & see if the information alligns
