dBocl Marketing Strategy

Brainstorming/note dump:
Cold outreach was already a wide net, minimal yield game but now AI is making it way easier and in turn people are getting inboxes absolutely flooded with garbage. Cold outreach used to get around 2% response rate but now its far far less, making warm outreach or lead magnets very important Lead magnets:

CSV → dBocl

I’ll turn your event spreadsheet into an effective system on our platform for free

Personal “Loom Bomb” Outreach (50 %+ watch rate)

Open their website / Google Sheet in a Loom tab.
Record a 45-second video:
“Hey Jane, saw your spring musical has a great lineup this year. I rebuilt that lineup in dBocl (on screen) so actors & crew see real-time updates without email threads. If you like it, I’ll hand you the workspace—no charge, we’re just looking for feedback!”
Paste Loom link + demo login in the email/DM.
Why this works
Not mass AI text—it’s your face + their actual data.
Shows value before asking for anything.

Field Tactic for Students (high reply rate)

Print 50 QR flyers:
“Running a campus event? Scan to replace your planning spreadsheet in 24 h (free).”
Post on student-union cork boards / club offices.
QR → Calendly with 15-min slots titled “Free event-plan migration.”
University org leads hate long emails—but a QR and a “we do it for you” conversion is <5 sec.

Buy Pizza for the event someone is doing or something along those lines - I’m watching some friends go viral on LinkedIn because they partnered with a company to buy pizza for a bunch of people they worked with and companies they wanted as leads.
