Should we prioritize QoL and UX improvements more?
If a new user runs into a bunch of small annoyances and then hits a medium bug, that bug feels bigger because their patience is already eroding. If the first impression is smooth, with buttons that behave, intuitive features, fast loading, and etc., people are more willing to push through a medium issue that needs a few seconds of troubleshooting.
Reduce the drip-drip-drip frustrations up front so the occasional bump later doesn’t break their trust or frustrate them.
I think it’s hard to fall in love with the simplicity of dBocl if there are too many distracting little issues. Many of our users will be pivoting from competitors software or spreadsheets so we’ll need to provide an equally smooth and seamless experience if we want to build trust early and retain them.
