Katabi's mission is to #CloseTheDistance of remote collaboration with ready-made webVR meeting, learning and social spaces. It is an immersive environment with purpose-built, 3D spaces that are accessible either through a browser or virtual reality headset.

We launched a prototype as part of the #CodeforCovid19 Hackathon Challenge, sponsored by Microsoft and HCL Technologies, for which we won first place in our category and were in the top eight finalists overall, out of 200+ teams. If you're feeling 'Zoom fatigue' and need a break from a grid of video faces, immersive might be the key.
