Egypt is a developing country that is highly vulnerable to climate change and faces numerous threats to its economic, social and environmental sustainability – including energy, water, and food security.
One of the biggest threats definitely is the rising sea levels in Alexandria and the Nile Delta, which is already affecting fishing communities in the region ー and will result in thousands of more people’s displacement if the issue is not addressed right now.
