Jose high school principal and superintendent were the first people he told about being an undocumented immigrant. They helped him find a scholarship to go to college that didn’t require legal immigration papers.
He struggled for years to get papers and including a green card so he could actually be here and worked and payed taxes and had proof of residency but still a no go
