About the Workcamp

Egyesek Youth Association organizes this volunteer program together with (an afterschool program in Csörög).

Managed by the Mahájána Foundation since 2011, the organization aims to ensure that children learn according to their abilities, find jobs they enjoy, and adapt to changing circumstances. To achieve this, it is important to make learning desirable again within the Roma community of Csörög, where they support 26 families. Their activities include group work and personal development for children, career orientation, and community building.

We are on the lookout for 6 passionate volunteers to improve the lives of marginalized children from the Roma community.

You will play a vital role in organizing a summer camp for children aged 7 to 18. Dive into a week of fun, teaching English, and building connections as you share your culture, language, and passions with these amazing kids. Whether you love sports, music, or just making memories, there’s a place for you here!
