VERY IMPORTANT! CONSIDER THESE WHILE PLANNING YOUR TRAVEL

📅 We ask you to arrive to Nyugati train station

⌚Not later than 5:50 pm on the 7th of July and to leave the camp⌚Not later than 10 am on 14th July 2024, and don’t leave any mess behind yourself.

🕔 Option 1: Go directly to Csörög to the after-school, address: 2135 Csörög, Zöldfasor u. 48.

🕔 Option 2: Join us and travel togather from Budapest:

2024.07.07., 5:30 pm at Nyugati train station

We ask you to meet up with the team (7 volunteers + 1 local camp leader) around 5:30 at the main entrance in front of the tracks, so you can catch the train leaving at 6.00 pm. You can buy the tickets on spot in the ticket office with cash or bank card, or you can even buy it in advance online (

With the train it’s only 1,5 hour to Csörög, where the team will have to arrive by 7:30. From the train station at Csörög we will walk to the after-school location.

If you arrive by plane in Budapest you have to go to Nyugati train station (ca. 1 hour with 100E airport bus and M3 metro). We suggest reaching the train station in time so the group can leave with the 6:00 pm train. After filling the confirmation form we will connect you and formulate small groups for the journey inside of Hungary.

🚉 LOCAL PUBLIC TRANSPORT IN BUDAPEST

In order to plan your trips, check schedules, buy tickets and use Budapest’s public transport easily, you are advised to download the

. Google Maps is also a good alternative to check the best routes from one point to another.

How to get to Deák Ferenc square from Budapest Airport (45 min.):

Buy one “airport shuttle bus single ticket”, it costs 2200 HUF

🎫 at the ticket machine right in front of the exit or

📲 use BudapestGO mobile application.

Take bus 100E just in front of the exit gate. Don’t forget to validate your ticket on the bus. Get off at the stop called “Deák Ferenc tér”.

Take M3 (blue) metro from Deák square (Deák tér) to Nyugati train station (Nyugati Pályaudvar). For the metro you can buy a single ticket for 450 HUF, once again from the ticket machine or via the app. Don’t forget to validate it before you get on the metro! 🙂
