💱 MONEY EXCHANGE
In Hungary, the currency is the Hungarian forint, but you can generally pay by bank card almost everywhere.
At the moment, the exchange rate is quite hectic; it should be around 400 HUF = 1 €.
Do not exchange money at the airport because the rates are extremely bad. If there is no other chance, only change around 4000 HUF for public transport tickets, and then you will find an in KÖKI, which is a supermarket close to the airport, or there are ATMs close to the venue as well. 🧳 WEATHER
The average July temperature of Hungary is between 26-29°C, with lots of sunshine, but it is the second rainiest month after May. The country is in a continental climate belt, which means that it is unpredictable. The average daily temperature could reach 32°C, and then two days later, it’s all of a sudden raining, so make sure to pack a raincoat or an umbrella for these occasions. During the night, the temperature can drop significantly from 29°C to 17°C or even more, so make sure to have a warm jacket or sweater with you.
