What will you have to do as a volunteer?

You will have the chance to witness the social reality of people living in poverty in Hungary, but more importantly be active participants working towards social change. Aim of this project is to bring local youth together with youngsters from all over the world. What will happen during the camp:

providing a chance to broaden people’s perspective and become more open to the world outside their own community,

learning about acceptance and cooperation,

team-building activities,

creative and multicultural workshops delivered to and by the volunteers with the local youngsters,

interactive programs to get to know the area together,

some renovation work on the community house,

also we cannot forget about campfire, music, sport, board games and lots of other fun activities

How to start?

Join a preparation call to meet fellow volunteers and any questions you may have before the travel. It will be on the 17th of June at 5-6 pm in CET (Budapest time) on google meets. Video call link:

On the first Sunday (23rd of June) a one day orientation training will be provided by the camp leaders to discuss the schedule, rules and prepare for the service.

there will be feeling meetings and reflection groups during the program to support your emotional well-being and learning

we will suggest opportunities for the free time and help in anything you need!
