Activities

So, what’s going to happen during your stay?

We are looking for volunteers to help run the festival through its preparational works. This means construction work, handling drilling, carrying heavy objects, etc. Work equipment will be provided just like instructions by the organisers of the festival. After the preparational work is done, you’ll be free to enjoy the festival and take part in all events. After the festival you will help in the de-construction on 14th July.

Other possible activities

The festival already has a lot of entertainers and musicians on its list whose performances you can enjoy during your stay, however, the village offers other activities as well. The Lake of Bánk is a well-liked place amongst those who enjoy beaches and swimming during summer, even though it’s a fishing paradise in the first place. It is important to stay on the side of the lake where swimming is allowed since the deepest point of the lake could reach 6-7 meters.
Besides the lake, the village offers many more opportunities. During the summer season thanks to a series of programs that hold the name Summer of Bánk, the village attracts many guests from different parts of the country. The wide variety of programs consists of different concerts, theatre shows, stand-up comedy shows and movie nights, all taking place by the lake.
