Lab safety

Lab access for visitors is controlled by the School of Psychology admin team, after successful induction to the lab.
Visitors that have not been given independent entry need to be escorted by a lab member at all times. Visitors that have been approved by a PI for independent entry need to have an induction to the lab, and this is achieved by reading this guide, especially the health and safety and lab access pages. Approved visitors can then obtain a visitor pass from one of the school administrators.
Before exiting the lab, please ensure all windows properly closed and the doors that do not have a passcode are locked. Please also ensure that equipment you have used, which could be damaged or cause damage is turned off and unplugged from the sockets
Please ensure all of your personal belongings are stored in one of the lockable cupboards safely at all times. You can speak to one of the lab members or your manager to ensure you have access to one of the available cupboards
