Hybrid Learning Model: Most students participate in in-person learning, some students participate in virtual learning
Larger in-person classes, activities, and events
Cohorting, alternating schedules, and staggered schedules are applied with some exceptions
Some mixing of groups of students and teachers throughout/across school days
Students and teachers minimally share objects
Students, teachers, and staff follow all steps to such as proper use of face masks, social distancing, hand hygiene
Regularly scheduled of frequently touched areas largely implemented with fidelity

SCS Guidelines for Meeting CDC recommendation

If class size cannot meet requirement during winter or summer season, must be remote.
Examples
Class size of 24, it cannot hold two cohorts with 10 per class, must remain remote for winter. During summer, could create two cohorts of 12 each meeting Summer Hybrid Requirement and come back from Remote.
Class size of 16, it can hold two cohorts with 8 per class and meets Winter Hybrid model. During summer, can meet 14 class size minimum for Summer Hybrid model.
Class size of 8, it can hold two cohorts with 8 per class and meets Hybrid Winter. Also meets Winter Normal requirement. Also meets Summer Normal requirement.
