Sponsorship lead


Why This Role is Important:

Financial Support: ​Sponsorships are critical for funding the event, allowing for better resources, enhanced programming, and reduced attendee costs. It will remove pressure from ticket prices. ​Community Growth: ​Strong sponsorships can bring credibility and build relationships for future collaborations. ​Mutual Value Creation: ​Effective sponsorships benefit both the event and the sponsors, ensuring ongoing collaboration and growth for future iterations of UX Camp.

Key activities:

Sponsorship Acquisition
Identify and approach potential sponsors whose values and objectives align with the goals of UX Camp.
Develop compelling sponsorship proposals that highlight the benefits and opportunities for sponsors, such as brand visibility, audience engagement, and networking with UX professionals.
Negotiate sponsorship agreements to ensure mutual value for both the conference and the sponsors.

2. Relationship Management

Serve as the main point of contact for sponsors, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
Build long-term relationships with sponsors by providing excellent service and showcasing the return on their investment through event outcomes.
Address sponsor needs and expectations before, during, and after the event to maintain strong partnerships.

3. Event Integration and Visibility

Work closely with the event and marketing teams to ensure sponsor branding and presence are effectively integrated into event materials, signage, and communications.
Coordinate sponsor activations, such as booths, workshops, or speaking slots, ensuring they add value to the event experience.
Ensure sponsors’ contributions are acknowledged and celebrated, fostering goodwill and future collaboration.

4. Resource and Financial Management

Track sponsorship revenue and manage deliverables to ensure alignment with the event’s budget and goals.
Ensure all sponsorship agreements are fulfilled, from logo placements to perks offered at various sponsorship tiers.

5. Post-Event Engagement

Provide sponsors with a detailed report showcasing the impact of their sponsorship, such as attendee engagement metrics, feedback, and visibility outcomes.
Gather sponsor feedback to improve future sponsorship experiences and refine offerings.
