Join Us as a Speaker at UX Camp Calgary! - March 22, 2025 at Platform Calgary

Hello Kristina!

I hope you are doing well. This is Luis Berumen from Calgary UX. It has been a while since we last chatted. I hope 2024 has been fantastic, and many great things are coming your way this 2025. On my side, I have great news! Calgary UX, in collaboration with UX Edmonton, is organizing Calgary’s first UX Design conference, UX Camp Calgary. We invite you and your team at ATB to be featured speakers at this exciting event. Your expertise and insights would be invaluable to our audience of seasoned UX Designers, Researchers, and Product Leaders. It is a unique event to inspire, connect, and empower the local design community. This event will take place on March 22 at Platform Calgary. Our goal is to create a vibrant gathering of UX professionals, innovators, and creatives passionate about shaping the future of UX Design, Technology, and Innovation in the province.

The conference offers five different session formats:

· Deep dive (45-minute presentation talk or demo)

· Quick take (25-minute presentation talk or demo)

· Panel (Minimum three speakers representing diverse perspectives - 45-minute)

· Product showcase (10-minute product demo)

· Workshop (2-hour or 4-hour)

What the community is looking for:

We want to deliver topics that the community is interested in. Recently, we gathered a survey and found the following interesting results:

Emerging Trends in UX – A strong desire to stay informed about industry developments.

UX Research Methods – Emphasizing the need to refine research approaches.

AI & Design – Reflecting interest in integrating artificial intelligence into design.

Design Thinking – Underscoring the importance of this foundational methodology in design.

Career Development – Highlighting the need for growth opportunities within the field.

Application of UX Across Different Industries – Exploring the diverse uses of UX principles.

Tools and Software for UX Design – Exploring the best tools to streamline and enhance the design process.

If you are passionate about a topic and it is not on the list, please do not hesitate to propose it.
