Jeremy Bailey | Flip the Table

To kick us off, we have a keynote from Jeremy Bailey, a leader who has spent his career challenging the way UX is valued in organizations.

Jeremy is the VP of Experience Design and Research at Thinkific, he’s led design teams at Clearco and FreshBooks, and he co-founded APM Canada, a nonprofit working to make product management careers accessible to everyone.

Beyond tech, he’s a practicing media artist and a dedicated member of Calgary’s creative community.

Jeremy knows firsthand the struggles UX professionals face.

Just 10% of companies have executive-level UX roles, and even when designers get a seat at the table, they’re often sidelined—told to make things look pretty, left off the roadmap, or uninvited from key decisions.

But what if the goal isn’t just to get a seat at the executive table? What if the table itself is the problem?

In today’s keynote, Jeremy will share why UX leaders already have everything they need to start leading their organizations today.
