Session 2 (11am)

Han Xu | How UX Powers Scientific Innovation

Next up, we have How UX Powers Scientific Innovation.
In this session, Han Xu will explore how UX methodologies were adapted for scientific workflows and how they solved complex problems in the science-tech space.
He’ll use an example from a collaboration with Vanderburg University, which led to the design of an AI tool predicting enzyme structures, bridging UX and scientific innovation.
The discussion will cover the unexpected hurdles encountered during the project and demonstrate how great UX played a crucial role in advancing computational chemistry.
