the left compartment is for detergent. Please wipe down the gasket after use and leave the washer door slightly open
Dryer
make sure to clean the filter out and remove lint before you start drying, otherwise your clothes may not dry well. The filter is in the front of the machine right between the door and main compartment in the center and can be pulled out and opened up to clean.
