page, use the Meet Filter dropdown to select the meet for that day. This will automatically filter all of the tables on the meet standings page and the sub pages for each event manager.
Navigate to the respective event page (Men’s Triple Jump in example below)
Add the athletes and associated team name by using the + or hitting enter
Note: Currently there are subpages (men and women) for Long, Triple, Shot Put, Discus and High Jump.
If the meet has other events (such as pole vault), the subpages can be duplicated. Simply change the event filter for each table view by selecting the new event and gender (there should only be one of each).
For each attempt, add in the the distance in meters for each attempt with 0 being as scratch.
The results table below will auto-update as the event unfolds, including ranking the athletes if there are trials/finals.
At the completion of the event, the event manager should add the place and points awarded for each athlete who places in the event. (This is dependent on the type of event, dual, tri, invite and on potential ties)
Vertical Jumps Sub Pages(High Jump, Pole Vault)
For each attempt height, add the height of the bar, in meters, in the current attempt number’s height column. (Ex: 1st Height)
In the current attempt number’s height attempts column (Ex: 1st Height Attempts), assign the athlete points according to the number of attempts it took to get over the bar
1 attempt to clear: 3 points
2 attempts to clear: 2 points
3 attempts to clear: 1 points
The default is 0 points and indicates that the athlete did not clear the bar
The totals column has a very simple algorithm to calculate a score and help with ranking.
The table below the athletes entries sorts the rankings.
At the completion of the event, the event manager should add the place and points awarded for each athlete who places in the event. (This is dependent on the type of event, dual, tri, invite and on potential ties and other factors in the vertical jumps)
